They are so embarassing!

Dad gave Mom two really cool Christmas presents this year. Mom used one of her presents (her camera) to catch Daddy having fun with the other present (an iPod). Yes folks, that is an imaginary microphone. And they say I am the kid!

Merry Christmas to All!

I hope everyone had a great Chrismas like we did! Dad woke us up around 8:00 when he couldn't stand it any longer. I was so excited when I came downstairs and saw that Santa had come! For those of you who are keeping track, yes, he did bring DORA MERMAID!!! I also got a basketball hoop, a baby that claps and laughs, a tool set, and lots more goodies. After we ate our big Christmas breakfast, Mom and Dad opened their gifts. Then, Grandma Pam, Papa Charlie, and Great Grandma came to see what Santa brought. I didn't hardly know what to show them first.

Later, Mom tried to get me to take a nap, but I was just too excited. I stayed in my bed for about an hour, but I was talking the whole time. I finally got up when Grandma Bonnie and Papa came to visit. They played toys with me for a while before we had our Christmas supper.

It has been a very hectic week, but a fun one too. I have just been so happy to spend all of this time with the people I love. I hope everyone else has been as blessed as our family has been. Merry Christmas everybody!

The Celebrating Continues

On Sunday evening our family went to Grandma Bonnie's for our Christmas meal and gift exchanging. I was very happy to see my cousins. We all had a ball. Grandma's house was just full of people and presents. I didn't get all of my presents opened though because I just wanted to stop and play with what I already had (again). I tried to get everyone to come into the Dora the Explorer tent that Granny and Great Grandpa gave me. I also played cash register with Aunt Nancy for a really long time, and I was exhausted when we left. On Christmas Eve, we went to candlelight church service at 7:00. When we got home I got to open a package (new pajamas, one of Mom's traditions). Then we spread reindeer food on the front lawn that Great Grandma made for me, and put out the milk and cookies for Santa. Daddy read us the Christmas story, and I went to bed to wait for the man in the red suit.

Let the Parties Begin

Tonight Dad, Mom, and I went to Grandma Pam and Grandpa Charlie's to exchange Christmas gifts and celebrate together. Grandma had lots of YUMMY things to eat. I think I ate my weight in watermelon. After supper we opened our packages. Grandma and Grandpa gave me lots of pretty jewelry which I shared with my parents, along with M&Ms, a really beautifully illustrated & unique book called God's Wisdom for Little Girls by Elizabeth George, a Radko ornament, and lots of other goodies. It took me a long time to get everything opened because I just wanted to stop and play with what I had already received. Finally, I opened a really big box, and it was an awesome dollhouse. It came with a family and it talks! I love it!!! Thanks so much Grandma and Granpa for making the night GREAT! Tucker and Jaycie, I am sorry that it didn't work out for us to all be together, but I have your packages all wrapped, and I know I will see you guys soon too. I hope you enjoy every minute you have with Uncle Jason while he's home.

Please Pray for the Nobis Family

Hi everyone. This time the entry is from Abby's mom for a change. As most of you know, my Godson Logan is affected with a terminal illness called MLD-metachromatic leukodystrophy disease. He is an amazing little boy who manages to give his family and friends the biggest smiles even though his life is harder than any of us can imagine. His mom Libby also amazes me everyday with the way she holds it all together. While everyday is difficult for Logan, he has had a particularly hard time this week. Everyone please just say a prayer today for the whole Nobis family that they may be uplifted by their faith in God's loving grace. Thanks-Crystal

Christmas Is Coming!

I am very excited for Christmas this year. I helped Mom with all of the wrapping, big fun. Today Mom made me have a photo session in my Christmas dress. Pretty Baby has a dress just like mine. Thanks for our dresses Grandma Pam! Tonight I was able to play with Tucker. We got pretty wild, as usual. Tomorrow we will start the first of our Christmas festivities. I will let you all know everything I am up to.

Robinson Cookie Baking

The annual cookie weekend at Grandma Bonnie's was hindered considerably by the ice storm. We were only able to spend a couple hours there, then headed home before the roads got bad. I had a lot of fun while I was there with Aunt Sissy, Kira, Geordan, and Grandma. I was really able to help this year. Later that week, Mommy and I spent 4 days at Grandma Bonnie and Papa's because we did not have power (like almost everyone else). Thanks Grandma and Papa for letting us stay.

Bad Santa

A couple of weekends ago Dad and Mom took me to meet Santa at Knollwood (where Great Grandma lives). At first I was very excited and waved at him, but when he walked up to me, I had a complete meltdown. I screamed. I cried. I wanted nothing to do wtih him. On the upside, I did get to see my little cousin Olivia, which perked me up quite a bit. I saw Santa again last week, and still wanted nothing to do with him. Mom says he'll still come though, since I have been pretty good this year. We'll see.

I'm still here

Well, the ice storm that happened two weekends ago caused us to be without an internet connection until yesterday. Here is what our yard looked like on Sunday, December 9. This was before the limbs started falling from the weight of the ice. We have had a busy couple of weeks, so I will catch everyone up with a couple of new posts.

Snow Day!

Well, there still wasn't quite enough to make a snowman, but I did get to play in the snow today. I was a little unsteady with all of my snow gear on, and I took a nose dive the first time I tried to lean over. Dad showed me how to make snowballs. We both teamed up on Mom. I chased my two kittens around and just had the best time!

How Do I Look?

A couple of days ago I got all dressed up and went "shopping" in our kitchen. You can see I have my list (that's a must), my pen to check things off, my purse, and all of my other accessories. I love to play pretend now whether it be grocery shopping, cooking, playing doctor (which is what I want to be when I grow up), or of course playing babies.

When I saw the snow flurries this morning I wanted to build a snowman, but Mom says we aren't getting enough snow. That's O.K. because I am going to hang out with Granny and Grandpa today anyway. I would also like to give a special hug and kiss today to Aunt Phyllis. See you soon.

More Cookie Decorating

Here we are putting the finishing touches on our creations. I ate as much icing as I put on my cookies, and I was a total mess. We had such a BIG TIME! I can't wait for next year!

Our Great Decorating Escapade

My parents and I went to Grandma Pam's Saturday evening once the weather cleared up. Aunt Amy and Mom started a cookie decorating tradition last year, and this was the weekend to continue it. Aunt Amy already had some cookies and a snowman cake baked when we got there. She and Mom baked a stand-up cookie scene, but it was a big flop. Tucker and I had our big moment when they finally broke out the icing.

Jaycie Claire sat this one out. Tucker with his preliminary work.
