Aunt Amy is a GUITAR GODDESS!

Look at her rock!

Big Birthday Bash

Lately we have had birthdays on the mind. My cousin Kira turned 8 this week, Tucker turned 4 today, and Jaycie will be 2 in a couple of weeks. Tucker and Jaycie had a great party together yesterday to celebrate. There was a table with tractors and a table with ballerinas. We girls wore tutus, and Tucker and some of the grown ups wore John Deere stuff. We ate lunch, watched the kids open their gifts, did some fun craft projects, and ate cake. The grown ups provided the entertainment for the party spending a good deal of time playing bowling and Guitar Hero on the new wii the family just got. Everybody had a blast! Now we look forward to Kira's party next weekend.

The JAKE

Most of you have heard of him, but in case you have never seen him.....here he is, Jake! I love a lot of things, but Jake is in a league of his own. "Jake" was my first word for goodness sake! I have been through many phases in my love for Jake. First, I was fascinated by him when he started coming to our house at around 2 months old. Then, we transitioned to me wanting to take care of him like I do my baby dolls. This past spring, when he started walking, we really bonded as buddies and started playing together. Right now we sort of have a bossy big sister/pesky little brother vibe happening (we're working on that one). Still, he is one of the last things I ask about when I go to bed, and the first thing I ask about when I wake up. Now you can all put a cute face with his name.

Enjoying the New Year

We had one last Christmas party last week with the Coon kids. The paper really flew and everything was opened within about 5 minutes. My favorite present was my new "fancy shoes" (purple crocs with Dora and Boots on them). I also got a really cool doll that talks, eats, plays, and knows her name. I spent New Year's Eve with my cousins as well. Grandma Pam made a good supper and we had party food. We even had party hats and noice makers. It was a pretty wild party. Since then I have been staying home for the most part and just playing.
