Happy Easter Everybunny

The Easter bunny came to my house overnight and left me a little Easter basket. I opened it, then went to church with Mom and Dad. We had Easter dinner at Grandma Pam's. Papa and Great grandma were there too. The bunny stopped off there as well. He left a big basket with lots of goodies. Mom says I ate my weight in chocolate. I hunted some eggs that he left this afternoon, and I just had a great time playing.

I've Got a Place of My Own

When I woke up from my nap Saturday there was a big surprise outside for me. I could not believe it! Dad built the whole thing in the shed so I wouldn't see, and brought it out while I was asleep. First I ran around it for a couple of minutes telling Daddy and Mommy everything I saw.....swings, a ladder, a slide, and a great "playhouse." After that I tried climbing the ladder. Dad helped me the first two times then I had the hang of it. I went down the slide a couple dozen times; Baby went too. Dad pushed me on the swing and glider, and I sat at the picnic table. I giggled, smiled, and talked all the time we were outside. I call it my "playground". I wanted to play on it again later, but it was too late and pretty cold. I was able to go out Monday and Tuesday as well. Yesterday Grandma Bonnie watched me play on it for a long time. I bet I will be on it all the time this summer. I am so lucky to have my Dad who pulled this surprise off for me. Thanks Daddy. I love you!!

My New 'Do

Today I got my first haircut. I went to Mom's stylist, Terri, and she was really nice and super fast. She just snipped the ends off a little. I did a good job holding my head still. These are the before, during, and after shots.

Egg Hunt

Mom took me to an Easter egg hunt today at a park. I found five eggs and there was chocolate inside! I wasn't too thrilled about the Easter bunny that was there, so I just looked at him from a distance. When the big hunt was over, all of the kids headed to the playground since it was so nice out. I went down the slide so many times!! I loved playing with all of the other kids, and was one of the last ones to leave. As we were walking to the car I sampled some of my candy....YUMMY! We have a lot of big happenings this weekend. Hope everyone has a great Easter.

Egg Coloring - Episode 2

Here is the second round of egg dying fun. Jake thought this was pretty great. We even made some two-tone eggs this time. All of the eggs made it through as we were very gentle. We tried to put some Mickey Mouse "tattoos" on them, but it was a little tricky. Next on the Easter agenda is an egg hunt Friday. I still remember hunting eggs last year so I know what Mom is talking about, and I am anxious to go.

Our Easter Best

So.......once again our moms got the brilliant idea to make Jake and I dress up and have a photo session. Sometimes I feel like I live with the paparazzi (and Britney thinks she has it bad). All the time with the flashes and the camera in our faces........what are ya gonna do? We actually did kind of enjoy being all dressed up this time though. I kept telling Mom how fancy we looked. Isn't Jake so handsome?!

Egg Coloring

This weekend I played with my cousins. On Saturday night we all colored Easter eggs at Grandma's house. We had a couple of egg casualties, but mostly things went pretty well. We even colored on some of them with markers and Aunt Amy wrote our names on our eggs for us. Look for more Easter pics to come.

Hanging Around

Hi everybody. I am glad to be back in action. I spent a lot of time with Daddy and Grandma last week, and I saw Kira and Geordan this weekend. We had a lot of fun playing together. I especially like to follow Kira around. Other than that, I have just been helping Mom out around the house. Dad went to the grocery store last week and brought home the Dora cereal I am holding in the first picture. It is good! This week, we are just staying around home and hoping to get outside a little bit.
