Playing dress up

Even when I just get dressed in regular clothes, I usually take on an imaginary identity. In these pictures I told Mommy I was a princess, a rock star, and a ballerina. Daddy should be able to have a few good days in the field now, so we are very thankful for that. I hope to go for a tractor ride tonight.

Let the Planting Begin!!

We are so happy to report that Daddy has been in the field the past week. The rain has been menacing, but he has been able to get a little bit of a start. He is finished at one farm, and has two others started. Yeah! As for me, I have been playing and helping Mom work outside every chance I get. We have picked up dozens of gator loads of sticks left over from the December ice, and our yard finally looks a little better. Can't wait to get some flowers planted, maybe next week. Jake and I have been working on our letters for the past few months, so last week we had a big alphabet party. Here you can see us doing all sorts of alphabet related things. The best part was getting all messy eating the cookies that we iced with our names. Yes, that is a swimsuit I am wearing. I ask to wear a suit everyday, and even got to sleep with one under my jammies last night.

Still Waiting for Spring

I haven't had much excitement this week. I ask to go outside almost every day, but it is usually too cold or wet. Mostly I have just been hanging out with the parents, as usual. Mommy and I are savoring every evening we have with Dad before planting starts, which he hopes will be very soon.

Fun Weekend

I had a really fun and relaxing weekend. Friday night we had a surprise party for Grandma Bonnie's 60th birthday. I saw a lot of my family and enjoyed running around with some of my cousins. Grandma was really shocked and happy as you can see. Thanks to everyone who came and made it special for her. Saturday and Sunday we stayed around home mostly and I was able to get in a lot of outside time. Mommy helped me fly a kite for the first time. I hope I can go out some more this week. Also, congratulations to Daddy's cousin Jason and his wife Dana on their new baby Grant Michael who joined our family Thursday!
