A Beautiful Day

Not a whole lot to report this week. I have been outside the past couple of days all day, which has been wonderful. Today I barely wanted to come in long enough to eat lunch. I am looking forward to seeing Tucker and Jaycie this weekend, and am hoping it is nice enough to play outside with them too. Also, my mom wants to remind everyone to please say a prayer for guidance and strenghenting in faith for the Nobis family. When Logan is doing well, we quickly forget how challenging his days can be. I am always so glad to go to his house and play with him and his sister Lakin.

I'm Updating

Great Aunt Phyllis and Great Grandma paid me a surprise visit last Friday. I was so happy to see them both at my house! Aunt Phyllis said I don't update my blog often enough, so this one is a bonus update just for her. Hugs and kisses to all of my Chicagoland family! Hope to see you all soon.

COUSINS AGAIN!

Yep. I spent my 3rd weekend in a row with some of my cousins. Kira and Geordan stayed at my house on Friday and Saturday nights. Geordan and I went to Aunt Nancy's Saturday while Mommy and Kira had girl time. When we got home we made ice cream. We played outside all Saturday afternoon, and watched "Alvin and the Chipmunks" that night and had a pizza party. On Sunday Grandma Bonnie and Papa came over for lunch then Papa went fishing with all of us kids at Grandma Pam's house. I have my own fishing pole this year and I invented my own very unique casting style. Papa caught three fish, which I found really exciting. I wouldn't touch them though. We had the BEST time, and I am really missing my cousins now.

Happy Mother's Day

As you all know there isn't much better in my world than cousins, so this weekend Grandma Bonnie, Mommy, and I headed south to see Kira and Geordan. Saturday morning they each had a T-ball/baseball game. I wanted to play too, so Aunt Sissy and Uncle George played a game with me on the sidelines. Later we had a blast swimming at the hotel together and going out to eat. Kira stayed with us in our room and we had a slumber party with snacks, nail painting, and "The Princess Diaries." On Sunday we had a nice breakfast, went to church, and had a picnic style lunch (had to eat inside though....cold). Then, last night we went to Aunt Nancy's house for a cookout where Granny, Great Papa, Papa, and Daddy joined us. It was a wonderful weekend, and boy was I out quick last night. Mommy says she hopes that all of the other Mom's she knows had just as fantastic a Mother's Day as hers.

A weekend with my cousins

Mom and I went to Aunt Amy's for a couple nights last week. I played hard with Tucker and Jaycie! I wore Jaycie's Pricess Belle dress the whole time we were there. All of us girls went to Chuck E. Cheese on Friday night and it was overwhelmingly wonderful. It was my first time there! Jaycie and I were really good while Aunt Amy and Mommy did some much needed scrapbook supply shopping. On Saturday evening all three of us kids played at Grandma Pam's house and had tacos. Yummy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy turned 31 today, and Mommy and I were so glad to get to spend some time with him. I helped him plant some corn, then we went out for pizza. When we got home we had birthday cake. I wanted a candle on my piece of cake just like Dad, and we made a wish together as we blew them out. Hope you enjoyed your day Daddy! I love you.
