Yes, I'm Still Blogging

I know, I know, I have been away for too long. Mom had a major computer malfunction, so we have been a bit disconnected for the past couple of weeks. Geordan had his birthday party last weekend. I had fun going to his and Kira's T-ball games, having lunch, and then having cake and watching him open presents. Our whole family went to celebrate. I have been helping outside a lot with some projects in the yard, and I love to make "dirt cakes" (see my face). I also finally started swimming lessons after a 2 week postponment, and am doing great. I am the big kid in class this year, and I love showing the younger kids how to follow the teacher's instructions. There are 8 other kids in my class, and I knew all of their names the first day. Mom says I am Miss Social. I am also pretty into my summer reading program. We have read over 10 hours so far. I also like going to the special story time every Wednesday. Other than that, I have been playing with Jake as usual and making the rounds to see family. Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for checking in.

Keeping Cool

I thought I would show everyone my Elmo sprinkler. I don't run through it; I just stand on the perimeter of the water and get a light sprinkle. Mom says that is very "Abby -like". In the other picture I'm pretending I am at the beach. Thank you Aunt Nancy and Grandma Bonnie for watching me yesterday and today while Mommy nursed her sunburn. I start swimming lessons tomorrow, and I'm pretty excited. I'll give you all a full report on it soon.

See My Roses

I'm still playing outside as much as possible, although it looks like today is going to be a bust. Yesterday I went to the park with Jake where there were LOTS of kids. Then last night I helped Mom outside. I was very excited to finally get to cut some roses. We have had buds for what seems like a month, but they just bloomed. Tomorrow I am signing up for a summer reading program at the Jacksonville library. I will keep you posted on what all I will be doing with that. Have a great day everybody.
