Recital Weekend

I had my first dance recital this weekend! I started with rehearsal on Friday night, then I had two shows on Saturday and two more on Sunday. I loved putting make-up on, and told Mommy several times that I looked like her with it on. I also thought that having my hair in a bun was funny because I had never had it like that before. I had lots of family come to watch me....I had someone there for me at every show. Everyone said I did such a good job. Mom was thrilled that I sat still on stage while my class waited to perform. My class did a tap routine called "Rock Around Mother Goose." Mom was also so happy with my effort to execute the dance. I want to take lessons again next year, and will miss going this summer. Thank you to everyone who watched me and helped Mommy out this weekend.

Spring Fling

So, after months of cold, ice, rain, snow, wind, etc. my mom has finally reached that time of the year when she quits talking about starting a pineapple farm all the time. Boy, is Dad ever happy about that. Speaking of Dad, he is plugging along in the field. It has been slow going, but comparatively he is in really good shape, and this week is looking great for him. My buddy Jake turned 3 Last week! Wow, now he is a "big kid" like me! I am reminding him all the time though that I am an older 3 than him. The two of us can play all kinds of games and things outside now that we didn't understand last year, which is making it even harder for us to come inside periodically. We try to avoid the indoors unless it is absolutely necessary........drink, two bites to eat, back outside! In fact, that's where we are headed right now!
