Disney: Day 4

So, by this point in the trip we were settled into a pretty good groove, and were really able to see a lot on day 4 being more familiar with the layout and the "Disney Way." Here's what we did on this very exciting day:

- Breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger....beautiful setting with lots of windows and topiaries
- Rode Snow White's Scary Adventures, which was not scary
- Decided to ride It's a Small World since we had a few spare minutes, glad we did, it's a classic
- Received the royal treatment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Cinderella's castle....this was a highlight of the trip.......had my hair done, nails painted, and got sprinkled with pixie dust by a Fairy Godmother in Training
- Rode Peter Pan's Flight......we were flying through Neverland in a boat!
- Saw "Mickey's Philharmagic"......loved it......my favorite of all the 3-D shows
- Went through the haunted mansion.....not too scary, but I was concerned about all the dust on the light fixtures
- Ate lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern where apparantly they thought we were a family of about 8........way too much food, as was the norm, but so yummy!
- Met Aladdin and Princess Jasmine at Agrahba market
- Stood in an outdoor line for about 35 minutes in 95 degree beating sun to give Daisy Duck a hug......funny though, when you are at the Magic Kingdom you are just so happy that you don't mind doing that at all
- Went to dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway part of Epcot's world showcase.......Cinderella, Aerial, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle were ALL there.....I was in heaven, and we like Norwegian food (well Mom and Dad do, I had pizza)
- Rode Maelstrom in Norway
- Back to the Magic Kingdom to watch the "Spectromagic" lighted parade........every bit as good as we hoped........the castle was so pretty at night.........saw all kinds of Disney characters
- Custom made my mouse ears at Le Chapeau on Main Street
- Said I still wasn't sleepy when we got back to the hotel around 11:00, but was asleep a minute after my head hit the pillow
...............and much, much more

The Crystal Palace with Piglet........I decided that this was Tigger's house.
Daddy and me with Eeyore.... I thought his tail was funny.
Mom was taking pictures of the floral arrangement, and I asked her if she would take my picture with them. I have been brainwashed to seek out photo ops. Getting my hair and nails done at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.......I picked out the crown I liked, the nail polish I wanted (which was pink), and chose a Mickey barrette for the back of my hair, and a jewel for my face. They even put make-up on me, and let me take home a bag of goodies.
Baby getting pixie dust sprinkled on her..........They even made a little sash for her to match mine.
The after shot.........definitely a princess
Aladdin and Jasmine, we finally met a prince!
At dinner in Norway.......I liked Snow White's dress and especially her cape, since red is my favorite color. The super magical night time parade......everyone "oohed" and "ahhed" when Cinderella and Prince Charming went by in the stage coach......This is one of the things that you really have to see to appreciate....... Just gorgeous!

Daisy was my favorite at breakfast that morning
Dancing around the room with Mickey and friends. The retaraunt was in the Africa area of Animal Kingdom and we got a real taste of how thouroughly Disney carries out a theme. It was beautiful and the food was great!
A big hug from Minnie.
Baby and I were in our very best attire to dine at the castle. The temp was in the 90s, but I insisted on wearing the whole outfit, gloves and all.
I was surprised when the Fairy Godmother came out and sang, Mom and Dad didn't tell me she would be there.
I liked the dresses the mice wore. They are wonderful seamstresses.
Daddy had us going super fast on the tea cups.

The Magic Begins

"Hi-ya everybody!" Dad, Mom, and I arrived back home today after spending a fantastic week in the happiest place on earth...Disney World!!! We have somewhere in the neighborhood of 700 pictures total, so I am having to be selective here. Mom will be editing and deleting many of them in the coming days. We just wanted to show a few of them right away since we know there are some people (grandmas) who are anxious to see them. Check back this week, and I will tell you all about our trip. Some of the details may be unfamiliar if you haven't ever been, so just enjoy the pictures and use your imagination, but Mom will be giving a run down of where we went and what we did for our "Disney Pro" friends (that means you Bangerts).

DAY 1:
Smooth plain ride
Arrived at the All Star Movies Resort mid-afternoon
Started our touring at the Magic Kingdom
Saw THE castle
Got "spit" on by a camel
Met Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Belle
Rode Cinderella's carousel
....and much, much more

Daddy and I in our room after check-in
. We stayed in one of the 101 Dalmations buildings. Our first glimpse of Cinderella's Castle
Baby and I watching the stage show at the castle forecourt starring Mickey and friends... Baby is sporting my "First Visit" button.
Daddy and I on the carousel
Cinderella held me!!!!! For months all I said I wanted was for Cinderella to hold me when I went to Disney World. The wait was so worth it! She said she liked my outfit and asked if my mice made it for me.
Surrounded by royalty!
The princesses left kisses all over Baby and me.

My Fair Lady

Jake and I went to the county fair on Thursday for kids day. It was so much fun! We participated in lots of games and activities.
We made animal puppets.
There were firefighters there with a safety house. We had to crawl out the window after the room filled up with smoke.

The highlight of my day was meeting the fair queen whom I had my eye on all afternoon. She was very nice to me.

Jake was very excited to see the chickens and the cows, but the bunnies were my favorite.

I had a flower painted on my cheek, and another one painted on my arm. On the other arm I had a tattoo of flowers. A true flower child I guess.

Fun and Fireworks

Oh, did we have a fabulous 4th of July weekend!!! On Friday night we went to Grandma Pam's for swimming and supper. It was a little chilly, and we did swim in the rain a bit. Yesterday we had a "Daddy day" (that's when Daddy spends ALL day with us). Dad and Mom took me to the carnival in Jacksonville to ride the rides. It was......interesting. I did love the rides and the cotton candy, but it rained on us. So, we made an impromtu trip to the movies to see Up. It was very good! All three of us liked it. Last night we went to my best buddy Jake's house where I played with a whole bunch of boys around my age. We all got really silly together playing. Then, Jake's dad set off a bunch of really cool fireworks. This was the first 4th that I have actually made it long enough to see them, so I felt like a pretty big kid. Today I have been hanging out with Grandma Bonnie and Papa. Papa, Daddy, and I went fishing and I cought 4 fish! I can't wait for this weekend to be over so I can relax!,

The Big Girl Class

I am taking swimming lessons this week. This is my first year getting in without Mom, and I am adjusting very well. As you can see, I do not always love what we are doing, but I give it my best effort. I am so excited to go each morning. Have a safe and happy holiday everybody.
