Filed Trip
I went on a big class field trip to....wait for it....the FARM! Kind of funny, huh? This was a much different farm though than the one that I live on. There were chickens, pigs, sheep, cows, and donkeys at this farm. I was WAY excited to go, and even more excited that I was able to have Jake AND Landen from my class ride with us. I was a bit afraid at first of the family's dog, but even ended up petting him before we left. I liked holding the chick the best, and Mom was very happy that I was brave enough to do it (not usually my cup of tea). I was very blessed that this place just happens to be the family farm of my Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Hadden! She is the lady in the red sweater in these pictures, and she took me by the hand on several occassions to approach the animals. I was really comfortable having her by my side. After we learned about all of the animals, we had our snack in the kitchen of her big, old farmhouse and went back to school. I have decided that field trips are great, and I am looking forward to next year at preschool when I get to go on a lot more of them.
