Well, Florida was wonderful! We just had fun the whole time we were there and had some very nice beach weather. I have a lot of stories to tell so when you see me next be sure to ask me about the dolphins, the giraffe, or the shells on the beach. Some of the highlights of the trip:
- The beach (of course) was great. The sand was white and sugary. Each time a wave came in, it would leave handfuls of seashells. Being on the Gulf side, the water was green and shallow for a good way out.
- I loved the pool at the resort and talked to lots of other kids from all over the world when I went swimming in it everyday.
- We went on a "safari" at Busch Gardens. We were close enough to touch a lot of animals, and fed Dolly the girrafe lettuce. We also saw zebras, antelope, rhinos, etc. I also had my face painted like a tiger.
- From the Florida Aquarium we went on an Eco-Tour of Tampa Bay where we spotted several wild dolphins. They came pretty close to our boat and were very playful.
- I really liked flying. On the way there I slept the last half of the flight. I enjoyed looking out at the clouds on the way home and reading my magazines.
There is plenty more to tell, and I am sure those of you who see me in person will hear all about it. On our last day when mom said we were packing up to go home I told her "No, I'll just stay here at the beach." She said "That's my girl" whatever that means.
